Papertrey Ink MIM Glitter Trim

Got my February order from PTI this week and found some time to play around with my goodies. Finally got The Sweet Life set, plus I also bought the Cutting Garden from this month's release.

I had fun with Cutting Garden, even though I didn't order the dies. I made a cutting file with my Silhouette Cameo that turned out pretty good. But for this week's MIM challenge (use some glitter trim), I decided to go very simple, stamping directly onto white cardstock.

I liked the way it turned out; it almost looks like a watercolour painting, but I assure you no water was used! I had a hard time figuring out how to add glitter and finally just added a small half banner in black glitter under my sentiment.

Cardstock: PTI Stampers Select White, True Black, Smokey Shadow
Dies: PTI Doubled-Ended Banners, Lifestyle Crafts Nesting Card Templates
Ink: PTI Lavender Moon, Simply Chartreuse; Memento Angel Pink; Hero Arts Red Royal
Other: Doodlebug black glitter

  1. I agree with you...this totally looks like a framed piece of art. It's beautiful. Even though you said you struggled, I think the placement of your glitter trim is just catches the eye but doesn't distract from the beautiful flowers.

  2. Very pretty card, Diana! I love how you framed the flowers with the cardstock!
