Papertrey Ink July 2014 Blog Hop (Second Post)

There is some seriously gorgeous inspiration over at Nichole Heady's blog for this month's Papertrey Ink Blog Hop.

Love everything about this. So not simple. Clean, yes, but nice and full and pretty with beautiful colours going on. That sweet gingham envelope/purse inspired me to make this card ...

The pocket on the card front contains a gift card and it's going to someone who has been extra nice to me in the last few weeks.

I used PTI's Gift Card Greetings die to make a little cover for the gift card, so it would look cuter in the pocket. I used Stamper's Select White cardstock and then cut another front cover using some October Afternoon gingham patterned paper to dress it up a bit.

Supplies:

Cardstock: PTI Stamper's Select White
Stamps: PTI Embellished Elegance, Friendly Flowers
Inks: PTI Smokey Shadow, Simply Chartreuse, Berry Sorbet, Pure Poppy, Sweet Blush, Autumn Rose
Dies: PTI Gift Card Greetings, Stitching Lines; Taylored Expressions Library Pocket
Patterned Paper: October Afternoon (gingham); Glitz (doily background)
Other: May Arts white twill ribbon; Jenny Bowlin button
