This week's challenge, over at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge blog, is to incorporate summer in our projects. I'm starting off with a card, and hope to add a layout later in the week. Unfortunately, our summer, weatherwise, has been, politely put, lacking (whew! that's a lot of commas in one sentence). With all the rain and clouds we've been having, there's not been a lot of drinks on the veranda, al fresco dining or pool time :( Hopefully it gets better from hereon out.

I was anxious to use my new PTI Still Life: Summer stamps and dies and turned out this card ...

Love those luscious fruits and that Super Swoosh "hello". I cut it and the oval (Spellbinders Nesting Petite Ovals) out of Tim Holtz watercolour paper which I painted with some soft pink and yellow ink. A panel of October Afternoon patterned paper adds some citrusy goodness.

Don't you just love Super Swoosh?
