As if I needed another tag!

This week's Make It Monday challenge, over at Nichole Heady's Papertrey Ink blog, brings us Dawn McVey (so happy to see her well enough to create a little something!) and double layer tags.

To me, the ultimate double layer tag recipe is to cut two identical tags, cut a window out of one of them, add some sprinkly goodness and make yourself a shaker! So that's what I did ...

Paper: PTI Stamper's Select White, Green Parakeet, Clear Cardstock; Core'dinations glitter cardstock (can't see it in photo, but the frame is white glitter). Stamps: PTI Tremendous Treats: Christmas. Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black. Dies: PTI Tremendous Treatts: Christmas, Scene It: Basic Backer, Shaker Shapes: Ornament, Holly Jolly; Lil Inkers Stitched Circles; Spellbinders Nested Circles. Other: Copics
I really didn't need another tag (but this one is kind of cute) since I just finished participating in Tracey McNeely's 25 Days of Christmas Tags challenge. You can find my wrap up post of that event here. But please be warned that it's extremely long and really just for my info.

  6. Um, this is adorable! I am so glad you did make another tag because this is one of my favorites. And your hard work definitely paid off. I couldn't be happier to see your name on the list of winners. Can't wait to see what you make with the goodies you'll pick up from SSS!
